This Zygor leveling guide review was easy because
using it isn't that different from playing without the guide, but difficult because Zygor is so
much more than just a guide. Anyone who's serious about leveling characters and doing it fast must
look into the Zygor guide.
First - What is it if it's not a guide. Well, most
guides are basically an ebook. Zygor is a mod that literally walks you through the entire
process of leveling your characters. Picture having an expert leveler who knows all the tricks
sitting right next to you telling you what quests to pick up then where to turn left, which cave
to go into, whatever. Well, you get the same effect from the Zygor leveling
guide (minus the fingerprints on your monitor that the live expert usually leaves). There
are a couple of other mods that attempt to do what the Zygor guide does, but the biggest
advantage the Zygor guide has is that it keeps track of your quests. In other words, you never
need to even look at your quest menu. The Zygor guide literally tells you, "Kill that. Pick that
up. Take it there. In real time." This is an unbelievable time saver because you spend no time
on bookkeeping, and all your time playing. It has also been updated for Wotlk for leveling
1-80.
Second - In the making of this Zygor leveling guide review, the biggest
difference that jumped out between the Zygor mod and anything you could call a guide is that you
never need to take your eyes off the action. This means you don't need to keep looking at your
guide to find out where to pick up the quest - the Zygor mod does it for you. Not only does this
save time, but it can save your butt. One of the biggest issues when power leveling is that
while you're reading your guide and deciding what to do next, your character is standing there
just waiting for somebody to jump out and kill it. With other guides, the only way to prevent
this is to find an ultra-safe location to plan your next step. Finding this safe spot means
wasting time. Wasting time defeats the purpose of power leveling.
When comparing the Zygor leveling guide to the competition, frankly the Joana mod is the only one
that comes close. Even with Joana, you're looking at a mod that doesn't keep track of quest steps
automatically (which means you're wasting that time finding a safe spot to plan your next step).
For a mod that is much more expensive than the Zygor leveling guide, this is pretty much a
dealbreaker.
The bottom line is that the Zygor leveling guide beats the pants off anything else out there. It
gives you detailed step-by-step directions for completing each and every part of every quest. You
get to spend 100% of your time playing. You don't flip back and forth to and outside application to
read your guide. No setting aside time to get to a safe spot and plan (or worse, flipping back to
your game screen and reading that something just killed your character). Even the best competition
out there doesn't match up to the features of the Zygor guide. Even if Zygor didn't cost less it
would be the best choice for anyone serious about leveling their character in the absolute shortest
possible time.
