do when in a group situation or during a raid. Take care of crowd control and keep the mobs that
are currently attacking your group from becoming too overwhelming. Crowd control skills are vital
even when there are a lot of tanks around. During such times, your best asset would be the
Polymorph spell that would best help your through the mobs.
- Do keep your health in check. There is a reason why a Mage is often referred to as being
a “Glass Cannon”. This is because while you might be able to deal quite a lot of burst damage at
quick successions, you are rather weak when it comes down to close combat. This is why during PVP
situations, try to keep yourself in the back of the pack and constantly check on your health points
while you play.
- Remember the Versatility is your friend, not your foe. This is one of the best and most
important specialization results that come when you play as an Arcane Mage. You would readily have
a few yet highly useful spells that can cause direct damage right at your disposal. This comes with
the ability to conjure up food as well as water for yourself except when it comes to time and mana
terms. This could well be the most versatile of the three specializations for the Mage class even
though you do not have the same kiting abilities that Frost Mages have.
