 WoW Warlock Macros
The game World of Warcraft is popular because of its extensive gameplay, iconic graphics and
entertaining possibilities. One feature that this MMORPG has employed efficiently is the macro
option, which is a godsend for those who are tired of seeing so many symbols and clickable buttons
on their screen. Macros enable a player to combine multiple actions into one single button that can
be pressed. Players can create up to 54 macros for a character, and customize them in every many
different ways.

How To Make A New MacroDo not be fooled by the seemingly overly-complex jargon, for making
macros is easier then it sounds. All a player has to do is to open up the main menu while in-game,
and then click on Macros. Another variation of this is bringing up the chat box and typing
“/macro”. After that, the player can click “New” when a new window pops up. He or she can even
choose the desired icon for the macro he or she will create. Choosing editing means that it is time
to input the information for the macro.
The hard part when it comes to making macros is knowing how to properly encode the actions that the
player wishes to add. Usually, he or she will type the desired command, and then follow up with the
conditions of the command. The conditions and names entered are case sensitive, so in order for the
macro to work properly, he or she must use the correct words. Those who are lost can easily check
online for a little more help. Below are some macros that will help a certain class.
Useful Warlock MacrosAmong these are some of the most commonly-used macros which are
considered a must-have for every warlock:
Multidrain Macro

This macro enables a character to use all three kinds of warlock drains using a single button,
making it much easier and faster for a warlock to go straight into his DoT attacks.

This macro gets the most out of the abilities of a warlock’s minion at any given time. For the succubus, it will cast
Seduction. For Imps, Dark Pact, and for Felhunters, Spell Lock. If in combat with a
voidwalker, Dark Pact and Sacrifice will be used. If out of combat, then Consume Shadows and
Health Funnel will be substituted. The second version of the macro includes all of the most
important minion abilities.
Immolate and Incinerate In One Button Macro

/cast [modifier:alt] Incinerate; Immolate
Combining both immolate and incinerate into one button, clicking this macro will cause the
warlock to cast Immolate. When holding down alt, the warlock will cast Incinerate.
