WoW Warrior Macros
In the World of Warcraft, a “macro” is a way to put together several moves
or actions with one command. Each character a player commands has access to a total of 54 macros,
including “General Macros,” which are available to every character within an account and
“[Character] Specific Macros”, which are for one particular character only.
Keep in mind that this is just a guide on creating macros so if you're low on
gold and want to learn how the pro gamers make crazy amounts of gold then check out the top

those just starting out and need an in game powerleveling guide 1-80 please refer to: Zygor's Guide which includes leveling from
1-80 in the shortest amount of time for both Horde and Alliance.
Making a New Macro
To make a macro, open the main window and select “macros” or in the chat box type “/macro”. Click
“New” at the bottom of the window. Choose a new icon for the macro, and then choose the edit box of
the macro to start entering commands.
Macro syntax is basically “/command then conditions: to the command”. Be careful – the conditions
associated with the command are case sensitive, so if the an uppercase letter is used where a
lowercase letter belongs, the macro will not work.
Tried-n-True Warrior MacrosHere are some popular warrior macros and what they do:
Shield Bash or Pummel Macro
/cast [stance:1/2,noequipped:Shields] Berserker Stance; [stance:1/2,equipped:Shields] Shield
This macro uses the Shield Bash ability as long as the warrior is in the correct stance, but
otherwise puts the character into the berserker stance and uses pummel.
All in One Charge#show [combat] Intercept; Charge
/cast [stance:1/2,combat] Berserker Stance; [stance:3,combat] Intercept; [stance:2/3,nocombat]
Battle Stance; [stance:1,nocombat] Charge
/stopcasting
/cast [equipped:Shields] Defensive Stance
This warrior macro is made for combat. If the warrior is already in combat, the macro casts
intercept from the berserker stance, but if the warrior is not in combat, the macro places the
warrior in battle stance and then charges. But, if the warrior is holding a shield, it places him
into a defensive stance.
Heroic Strike / Charge#showtooltip
/cast [nocombat] Charge; [stance:3,modifier] Intercept
/cast !Heroic Strike
This macro activates Heroic Strike for the upcoming Melee attack, then charges the bad guy.
Bloodrage and Berserker Rage/cast Bloodrage
/cast Berserker Rage
This macro enables the warrior to use both Bloodrage and Berserker Rage at the same time.
Automatically Attacks, Regardless of Stance
#showtooltip
/show [stance:1] Charge; [stance:2] Taunt; [stance:3] Intercept
/startattack [harm]
/cast [stance:1] Charge; [stance:2] Taunt; [stance:3] Intercept
This macro is useful whether the warrior is in a player versus player style of play or PvE style of
play. Depending on what stance the warrior finds himself in, this one button enables the warrior to
charge, taunt, or intercept.
Macro for an Arms Spec Warrior/cast [nostance:1] Battle Stance; Sweeping Strikes
/stopcasting
/castsequence reset=6/target [stance:1/2] Thunder Clap, Cleave, Demoralizing Shout
/script UIErrorsFrame:Clear(); UIErrorsFrame:Show()
When there is no issue with crowd control, this macro is great for an arms spec warrior.
Mouseover Devastate or Sunder Armor/castrandom [target=mouseover, exists, harm, nodead]
Sunder Armor; Devastate, Devastate, Revenge
/cast Shield Block
/stopcasting
/cast Heroic Strike
This macro casts Sunder Armor when you mouseover your target, or Devastate / Revenge. But if you
spam it with unlimited rage, the character will use Heroic Strike automatically and your character
will use Shield Block whenever not in a cooldown cycle.
