WoW Blacksmith Leveling Guide

WoW Blacksmithing GuideTo have the best luck with Blacksmithing, take up mining as well. Be sure to level up Mining and Blacksmithing at the same time and check out some WoW Blacksmithing guide. As that will make things easier as you go along. Trainers can be found for smithing in all major cities, however to specialize and become a weapon or armor smith you MUST go to Ironforge for Alliance characters or Orimmar for Horde characters. You will need a minimum skill of 200. Weapon Smiths can get further specialization by going to Everlook at level 50+ and skill rank 250.

Skill level 200 and Level 40 for your character allows you to specialize as either an Armorsmith or Weaponsmith. Weaponsmiths can later specialize into Hammer, Sword, or Axesmiths. Any specialized armor and weaponry are Bind on Pickup, only to be used by the blacksmith that created it. Sepcialization ricipes usually require rather difficult components to come by. Like Nether Vortexes, Primal Mights, and Primal Nethers.

In order to go up in levels for blacksmithing. You will need the following Materials.

Stones: 120 Rough, 60 Coarse, 90 Heavy, 450 Solid, 15 Dense and 30 Lesser Moonstones.

Bars: 300 Bronze, 120 Iron, 10 Silver, 160 Mithril, 600 Thorium, 350 Steel, 130 Copper.

Misc Blacksmithing items: 30 Blue Power Crystals, 30 Star Rubies, 100 Yellow Power Crystals.

You'll want to make the following things to make it through the following levels.
Apprentice:
1-25 30 Rough Sharpening Stones, 26-65 50 Rough Grinding Stones, 65-75 10 Copper Chain belt.

Journeyman:
76-100 25 Coarse grinding stones, 101-105 5 Silver rods, 106-125 20 rough bronze leggings, 126-150 25 Heavy grinding stones.

Expert:
151-175 25 Rough Bronzes Leggings, 176-200 25 Iron Counterweights, 201-210 110 Solid Grinding Stones, 211-215 5 Golden Scale Bracers, 216-225 10 Steel Plate Helms.

Artisan:
226-235 10 Steel Plate hemls, 236-250 15 Mithril Spurs, 251-260 19 Dense Sharpening stones, 261-275 15 Mithril Spurs, 276-280 5 Thorium Bracers, 281-300 20 Thorium Helms.

In Burning Crusade you can rise from 300 to 375. This is what you'll need to go from 300-360.

370 Thorium Bars, 45 Fel Iron Bars, 130 Adamantite Bars, 40 Hetherweave Cloths. After you get level 360 you decided between Aldor and Scryer. Here's a materials list and crafting table for both.

Master:
300-315 15 Imperial Plate Boots, 315-320 5 Imperial Plate chest, 320-325 5 Fel Iron chain tunics, 325-330 5 lesser runes of warding 330-340 10 Adamantite cleavers, 340-350 10 Lesser Runes of sheilding, 350-360 10 Adamantite Weight Stones.

To get from 360 to 375 with Aldor you will need: 160 FelIron Bars, 70 Primal Waters, and 60 Primal Fires. For levels 360-370 you need to craft 10 Flamebane Gloves. Levels 370-375 you need 5 Flamebane Breast Plates.

To get from 360 to 375 with Scryer you will need: 70 Hardened Adamantite Bars, 220 Arcane Dusts, and 40 Large Prismatic Shards. For levels 360-370 craft 10 Enchanted Adamantite, 370-375 you will craft 5 Enchanted Adamantite Breastplates.
